The Linden Centre, a mental health unit based on the Broomfield Hospital site, has revealed that a patient died in its care just days before another service was killed by a train.
The North Essex Partnership University Foundation NHS Trust (NEPFT), which provides mental health care across mid-Essex, revealed that it is conducting a “thorough” investigation into the death of a patient on February 12.
The trust has not revealed the identity of the person who died at Broomfield Hospital a “few days” after an incident.
